Drummer’s Health

We have been repeatedly stressing the need for proper warm ups to help eliminate some common drumming injuries. Stick selection and proper warm up, including stretching, are very important in order to avoid some of the more common injuries such as:

  1. Tendonitis
  2. Elbow Epicondylitis
  3. Neuritis
  4. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
  5. Sprains
  6. Lower Back Pain
  7. Neck Pain
  8. Blisters & Hand Pain

I came across a very interesting article written by Doctor Daniel Buch from Oakland California concerning all of the above. It is also interesting that he makes reference to “Regal Tip” sticks and their high quality wood grain that can help in reducing stick vibration.
I know you will find the article very informative;
